How long I haven't written any diary???

I don't quite remember when was the last day I written diary on this blog,
but anyway, I come back to this blog.

To tell the truth, working is quite hard and I had no power to write any diary.
Actually, nothing has changed and I'm still busy.
But recently, I feel I need something to enjoy.
And I knew my best enjoyable hobby is English.
That's why I came back here.

But I have a probrem.
It's my certein English skills.
As you can guess, I haven't written any English for long long loooooooooooong days,
so I've already forgotten how to write English.
Maybe from this diary, you can guess the level of my English skills.
...But you don't need to tell them to me, 'Cause I don't have enough power to read them.

Anyway, when I need a power, I'll write something in English here.

But I have a good news.
I tried to keep reading English, so maybe I can read your message.
...Anyway, I'm planning to write English diary once a month at least,
So I hope someone read my diary and give me some messages.

I'm Home!!

Long time no see!!
I haven't write any diaries because of my new life!!
I started working and I'm not get used to, yet.
That's why I couldn't write any diaries. I just couldn't find any spare time.

But fortunetely, I like my job.
I'm not really good at, but still I like my job.
I hope I get used to as soon as possible and have more fun!!

I'm not sure if I can write diary like I did before.
But I'll keep reading English books and if I could find a time, write, listen to, talk in English!!
And enjoy English!!
And this blog is part of my enjoyable place to use English!!
Maybe I'll write sometimes!!

Shizuka Arakawa!!!

Shizuka Arakawa got the really first medal for Japan on the Turin Olympic!!
Her performance was breathtakingly beautiful, powerful and wonderful!!

Today's morning, my mother woke me up with telling Arakawa got gold medal!!
I was excited and jumped out from my bed (Normally, I love to stay in my comfortable quilt as long as I can)!!
I'm still excited, and I'm not sure if I can sleep or not!!
Anyway, now I'm looking forward to seeing exhibition!!

I can't even stop using !! today!!

Skiing

Today, I went to skiing.
I haven't done it for about two years and I was a little bit nervous if I could do it or not.
As the result of it, I could enjoy skiing. Actually, I'm not really good at skiing, but I could enjoy it and it's the most important thing, I think. Now I'm worrying about muscle pains. I'm sure I'll have them, because my sholders already start painning a little bit. But problem is how strong they will be. I hope I can stand and walk properly tomorrow!!

Mamemaki (Throwing beans)
3rd of February is Setsubun, beginning of spring.
We throw beans every rooms of our house and say "Oni wa Soto, Fuku wa Uchi! (Out with the demon and in with fortune!)" We throw beans because demon hates them, we believe. We open window or door to make a way for demon to run away and also for fortune to come in. After we throw all beans we have, we close the door or window, and collect all beans and eat them as much as our age. It's traditional custom.
But actually lots of people throw peanuts , because it is easy to gather, eat and taste better than beans. In my family, we also throw peanuts. And we eat them as much as we want. Our family's way is quite different with correct traditional way, but every year, I enjoy this custom and eating peanuts!!

Delicious Cakes!!!
Today, I ate two delicious cakes!! One is Chestnuts' cake and the other is chocolate cake. Both of them are my favorite kinds!!! I really enjoyed eating them and now I'm quite happy!! However, these days I eat too much I think. I may get a fat if I continue eating like these days... Maybe I should think how much I can eat(;_;)

Coming of age ceremony!!!
Yesterday, it was the coming of age ceremony!!
I went to a beauty salon to decorate my hair and make up, and went to a KIMONO shop to wear a beautiful traditional Japanese clothese, FURISODE (a kind of KIMONO, but FURISODE is usually just for single females).
Decorating hair and making up was a kind of fun. I enjoyed changing (Actually it was a really big change!!) and cosmeticians were really kind!! So, I had a really pleasant time. However, wearing FURISODE remind me just one word "HELL" I guess many foreigners don't know how difficult wearing KIMONO is. To tell the truth, I can't wear KIMONO properly by myself. But I guess many young Japanese can't ...Anyway, there are many steps to wear FURISODE. Most of them is not really tough and just difficult. However, tying the OBI is the HELL!! OBI is a kind of belts, however, it has no metal parts. So, we just tie it around the waist. But we tie it very hard!! I'd like you to imagine necktie. To explain how tight we tie OBI, I'd like to write that "If we tie necktie like OBI, we can't breath and might die." Now, I hope you can understand how tight it is. OBI is too tight!!! I can understand it's necessary. Because if we tie OBI loosely, it looks not really nice and also OBI might get untied. But it was a little bit hard for me to walk around while I was wearing FURISODE, because of OBI. But even wearing FURISODE is hard, I felt great pleasure to wearing it. Because it's very beautiful!!
After wearing FURISODE, I went to a hotel for ceremony. I didn't promise any friends to see, but when I arrived the hotel, I found a friend luckily. We talked a lot and enjoyed ceremony together. After the ceremony I saw many friends and also called some friends to gather. I saw most of friends who I expected to see and took many pictures!! It was a great fun for me!! After taking many pictures and talking enough, I went home and changed clothes. Then I ate a small lunch and went to reunion of my junior high school.
About 25 of people gathered and went to IZAKAYA, a kind of restaurants. We ate a lot and also drank A LOT!! It was the first experience for me to drink such a lot of alcohol!! I drunk 5 glasses of CHUHAI, Japanese SAKE. Then most of us went to KARAOKE including me!! But actually I didn't sing any songs and just enjoyed chatting with drinking a small bottle of SAKE. Then we went home. After coming home, I drunk 4 glasses of oolong tea to make alcohol thinner and slept. I think it worked, because I didn't hang over. It was a great fun day for me!!

Finally
Finally, I boutht a new keyboard!!!
From now, I can write whatever I want!! I hadn't known how happy thing we can use our own keyboards until it was broken!! I'll take care a lot my new keyboard and I won't break it, again!!
I know it's a little bit late to write, but I ignore about time now. So... "A Happy New Year!!"

Pumpkin Bread
Today, my mother bought me a pretty pumpkin bread as my sweets( it's not really big size, and I shared it with my mother)!! It was sooooooo cute!!! It looks like pumpkin and inside of it, there are paste of pumpkin!! Actually, I love pumpkin, so I enjoyed it very much!!
Someday, I want to bake such a pretty bread!! But I guess it'll take much more time than I spend to bake normal bread. So I'll bake it when I have plenty of time!!
Recently, I write about food on this blog a lot. I guess it's because I love eating and taking delicious foods' picture. But when I see my blog, I feel maybe I should control myself and refuse to eat too much!! But I'm not sure if I can do that or not. But anyway, I'm enjoying eating. Maybe it's the most important thing for me!! …Maybe, I can't control myself.

Walnut Bread
Today, I bake breads. I love to bake bread, but I haven't baked any breads for a while. Today, I had enough time to bake, so I baked them. This time, I tried to bake walnut bread. Actually, this is the first time for me to bake walnut breads, so I'm not sure if it is delicious or not. But I'm planning to eat it as a tomorrow's lunch. Maybe I'll make sandwich with this bread. I hope it'll delicious. But anyway, I'm looking forward eating it!!

Otaru
Today, I went to Otaru with my family. It's one of my favorite places in Japan. I ate KAMABOKO, fish sausage, at KAMABOKO factory KAMAEI. It was cold day and KAMABOKOs were hot, so I enjoyed them very much!!
Then we went to see some glasses and after that, we had a rest at a cafe. I ordered cocoa and it made me really happy. I was relaxed and just enjoyed the atmosphere of the cafe. I love cafe and when I was high school student, I sometimes went to cafe with my friends. When we went to cafe, we often used the word, MATTARI. Actually we went to cafe to MATTARI. MATTARI has almost the same meaning with relax. But I think MATTARI discrive happier and more smiling feeling than relax. Anyway, I enjoyed cocoa very much!!

Snow!!
Today, it was snow!! I didn't expect I could see snow today, because wether caster said it would be cloudy today. I love snow very much!! It is beautiful and enjoyable!!
I took this picture with my mobile phone. It was difficult to take a snow picture with mobile phone, so I tried to take picture more than 3 times. And finally, I could take this picture. But the leftside of this picture, there is something what I didn't want. I also took my finger's picture on the leftside of this picture!! From nexttime, I should be careful.

Delicious !!!
Today, I ate delicous cake!! I ate left side's chestnuts' one!!! It was really delicious and I was so happy!! I love chestnuts very much, especially chestnuts' cake and roast chestnuts!! But I ate one bite of chocolate cake and fruits cate, too. And these were also delicious.
Cakes are delicious and also very beautiful. I look up to pastry cheves. I want recipes of them!!!

Mask
We usually use mask when we are sick or to prevent sick. However, I'm using mask even I'm not sick and not to prevent sick. I'm just protecting my mouth from YUKIMUSHI( small bugs) !! Recently, there are thousands of YUKIMUSHIs and if we open our mouths without masks, we should care very much or we'll eat YUKIMUSHI. Of course I don't want to eat them, so I'm wearing mask now ( before I started wearing mask, I usually use my hand to protect my mouth) . Now, I'm really looking forward to snow, because after falling snow YUKIMUSHI disappear. I think I need a rest from YUKIMUSHI. I'm really tired with them.

Halloween Cake!!!
Today, mom bought us Halloween cakes!! It's made of pumpkin and so pretty!! It was the first time for me to eat Halloween cake and I was really happy about it!!
I couldn't say "Trick or Treat?" today, but I asked some teachers about Halloween and they told me about their childhood experiences a little bit.
One of our teacher said she was planning to wear special costume of a witch today, but she couldn't find the costume and also she didn't have enough time to make up, so she wore a mask during lunch time. She said she will wear a great costume next year. Unfortunately, I couldn't see her on the lunch time, and next year, I'll not be college. But someday, I wanna have an experience of real Halloween!!

Happy Halloween
I made some cookies today. I tried to make looks like Jack O' Lantern, but it was a little bit difficult and it became a little bit ugly. Anyway, I enjoyed making cookies and it was delicious!! I think... or I hope taste is more important than looks.
In Japan, we don't have Halloween, because it's not Japanese custom. However, there are some similar fastival in Hokkaido. It called Rousoku( candle) Maeri. On the August 7th, we visit many houses with paper lantern and sing a song. The mean of the song is "Give me a candle or I'll scratch you and also bite you!!" It's a old custom in my place but some places of Hokkaido, there are the custom of Rousoku Maeri. There are some similarity between Halloween and Rousoku Maeri, but on the Halloween, we can wear unique costume and can get lots of sweets. On the other hand, we just can get some candles on the Rousoku Maeri. So, I prefer Halloween. I have no experience of halloween but this year, I could enjoy Halloween a lot!!

Delicious Sushi
Today, I ate sushi at a conveyor-belt sushi bar (conveyor-belt sushi bar is more folksy than usual sushi reataurant). I love sushi and I really enjoyed them. This is the picture of Toro. Toro is the fatty flesh of a tuna. It is one of my favorite sushi.
Hokkaido is one of the famous places of seafood. When I was in Australia, lots of Japanese friends (not from Hokkaido) talked a lot about Kaisendon ( rice in a bowl topped with raw seafoods) to me. But actually, we don't eat seafood so often even we live in Hokkaido. Because we also love meets, vegetables and so on. It is quite interesting that there are many misunderstanding even in one country. So, I want to go to many places to know the real life of these places!!

Autumnal Colors of the Leaves

It's autumn now in Hokkaido, so yesterday, I went to short trip to see beautiful leaves with my family. Two years ago, my family went to see them, but I was third year of senior high school, that mean I had to prepare for my entrance exam and couldn't go to see leaves. Mom and Dad said it was breathtakingly beautiful. I envied them very much and set my mind on seeing beautiful leaves next year. However last year, I was in Australia on this season, so I couldn't see leaves again (but I had a great time and actually I was forgetting about it until this autumn ). And finally this year I went to see incredibly beautiful leaves with my family.

At first, we went around Lake Toya, but actually leaves weren't really beautiful as I expected. On the hill, there were lots of dead trees and under the hill, there were lots of green trees. I could see a few red and yellow trees and just enjoyed taking pictures. Then, we moved to the other places. We hoped we could see beautiful leaves even it's not as beautiful as two years ago. Then we could arrived the place which had very beautiful leaves. Maybe it wasn't as beautiful as two years ago because of last years typhoon, but I didn't care, because we could really enjoyed the beautiful autumn. I love to feel season and I could feel yesterday. Yesterday, I took many pictures as I used to. This picture is one of them, I hope someone who see this picture will enjoy it.
